The first thing I want to say is that Antiques on Main will be open throughout the reconstruction of Main Street, and we will be keeping to our regular hours: open at 9AM every day and closing at 6PM except for Wednesday and Thursday when we close at 8PM. Or at least that's our plan.
Construction started on Monday (2 days ago) and so far they are working only along the 100 block. In that section, eastbound traffic is limited to one lane while both lanes are still open in the other direction. The stores on the 100 block appear to be accessible.
As of yet, there is no construction in the 200 block, so there is still parking in front of the store. The side streets are not affected by the construction so on-street parking will still be available there as well as in the two public parking ramps. The ramp on Second Avenue a half block south of Main Street is the closest one to us (about 1 block) and doesn't require that you cross Main Street.
As things progress, we'll keep you posted.
